Phuong Luong, CFP® is the Investment Strategist for R&P and manages the social justice investment portfolio management process. She evaluates, maintains, and champions the social justice values of the firm in partnership with the R&P team, investors, data providers, and community partners.
Phuong understands the current and historical barriers to financial wealth for so many communities in the U.S. This knowledge comes from her experiences as a public school teacher and former nonprofit professional, her upbringing, as well as her current work outside of R&P as a financial planner for individuals and families.
Phuong serves as the Chair of the CFP Board’s Council on Education and is a member of the Center for Financial Planning’s Diversity Advisory Group. Phuong earned a Bachelor’s degree. from Dartmouth College and a Master’s degree in Special Education from Boston University. She completed the Financial Planning Program at Boston University, where she was a recipient of the Robert J. Glovsky Scholarship for Financial Planning.
